Monday, June 27, 2022 7:28AM CDT Farmers could see more fertilizer-related tariffs coming if the U.S. International Trade Commission rules the U.S. market has been injured by Russian urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) solution imports. Agricultural groups such as the National Corn Growers Association say this is yet another blow to farmers already watching their costs increasing.
Friday, June 24, 2022 11:41AM CDT Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller announced in February 2022 his office would look into historically high fertilizer prices as agricultural groups asked for this request. In wanting to learn more, Miller asked Iowa State University to study the issue. The report from ISU was released this week.
